This program is designed to provide an opportunity for children with special needs to participate in a movement program as a recreational activity in addition to other therapies. We will combine sensory, gross motor and gymnastics activities which will improve strength, flexibility, balance, direction following, and confidence in the student as well as in social settings.
These classes are designed for children aged 3 and up with moderate challenges including developmental delay, attention deficit, Autism, Sensory issues, coordination problems, fear of movement and more.
A parent or other adult may be asked to participate with the child based on need for the 7 and up class. A parent is required to remain in the building with the child.
Beginning in June of 2017, we are pleased to offer the general "I Can Do It!" class to those with special needs. Register for a class below.
The annual gym registration fee is due upon enrollment. This is prorated depending on the month you enroll.
We Approach Challenges by being brave, trying new skills, and not giving up when things get hard. Our coaches help students stay positive and remind them that mistakes are just part of learning.
We Build Confidence as we practice, improve, and start to believe in what we can do. With our coaches cheering us on, we feel proud of every step forward and excited to keep growing.
We Celebrate Success by recognizing our progress, whether it’s a tiny win or a big achievement. At OSA, we cheer for each other, have fun reaching our goals, and enjoy every moment of the journey!
