This program is designed to provide an opportunity for children with special needs to participate in a movement program as a recreational activity in addition to other therapies. We will combine sensory, gross motor and gymnastics activities which will improve strength, flexibility, balance, direction following, and confidence in the student as well as in social settings.
These classes are designed for children aged 3 and up with moderate challenges including developmental delay, attention deficit, Autism, Sensory issues, coordination problems, fear of movement and more.
A parent or other adult may be asked to participate with the child based on need for the 7 and up class. A parent is required to remain in the building with the child.
Beginning in June of 2017, OSA is pleased to offer the general "I Can Do It!" class FREE* to those with special needs. (Note: membership fee must be current for all classes & the Ninja Adaptive class is not offered free) Register for a class below.
*The annual gym registration fee is due upon enrollment. This is prorated depending on the month you enroll.
